Fatima Convent School is a Christian Minority School. It was established in 1954 in Ashok Nagar, Kanpur and administered and managed by the sisters of the Apostolic Carmel, an indigenous educational body of wide and long experience. The school is the unit of Carmel Sadan Society of U.P. The school is under the religious jurisdiction of the Catholic Bishop of Allahabad.
Fatima Convent School got its affiliation to CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education), New Delhi on 16-09-2015. The academic year begins in the month of April and consists of two terms – Summative Assessment I and Summative Assessment II.
The school aims at the Education of the Catholic Community around and extends its service to members of other communities to the extent possible. While our Education will be directed towards the total development of the person, we are primarily concerned with instilling Gospel Values in those we educate and forming responsible citizens of the country, who are ready to take their place in the social, political and cultural life with selflessness and zeal.
Our special focus with regard to Catholics will be their formation as committed Christians who are filled with a sense of mission to their country and to the world.
The object of the institution is to produce intellectually well informed, morally upright, socially concerned, emotionally balanced and spiritually oriented women who will act as agents of social change in their motherland and in the world of today.
